The meeting of the Francophone Ambassadors in The Hague with the Vice-President of Christian Democratic Appeal party

The online meeting of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors took place in The Hague on January 11, with the guest speaker being Mr. Pieter Omtzigt, Vice-President of the Christian Democratic Appeal party, member of PACE, Member of Parliament, Speaker of the CDA on European affairs.

During the meeting moderated by Mr. Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands, President of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors in The Hague, Mr. Pieter Omtzigt presented the vision of CDA ahead of the upcoming national elections, more specifically on the foreign policy priorities, EU agenda, the Netherlands-US relations, fight against corruption in PACE, as well as internal developments.

The Dutch politician emphasized that the authorities of Turkey and Azerbaijan should be called to responsibility for the violation of human rights and corruption deals within the European political circles.
